Xuzhou Music Hall is located in the north bank of Yulong Lake, Xuzhou City. This project adopts the structure of frame-shearing wall, including music hall, outdoor performance shell and entrance plaza. The total investment of this project is 150 million RMB, while its total building area is 13,000 sqm, including the 10,530 sqm of music hall. The height of music hall is 28.9 m, which contains 3 floors under the ground and 5 floors above the ground. Meanwhile, the music hall can accommodate 986 audiences.

This music hall adopts the shape of “crape myrtle”, which is consisted of 8 petals. This project uses tubular steel truss structure, while its façade adopts the glass and aluminum sheet. This thickness of the glass (3-layer sandwich glass) can reach to 45mm, while its largest weight is about 1t. Additionally, the aluminum sheet adopts the double hyperbolic honeycomb core sandwich panel to withstand impact and wind. At the same, this project’s building fire resistance is Grade II, seismic fortification intensity is 7 degrees, and roofing waterproof is Grade II.
